Packages

The packages we offer are aimed at making your stay in Perth as varied, enjoyable and hassle-free as possible whist offering you the chance to play in a competitive football environment

The packages include budget accommodation, airport transfers, orientation, and all football related costs (kit, travel to games, pitches, league registration, referee fees, and coaching from qualified coaches), as well as a range of social events throughout the season.

Backpackers FC’s management team will be on hand at all times to assist you during your time in Perth and will provide all the local knowledge to make your stay truly memorable.  This is backed up by our support services to help you find work, offer ideas for tours, organise 5-a-sides and ensure you make the most of your time in Perth.

2012 Fees:

$175 Registration fee to join Backpackers FC (this covers league insurance and membership)
$10 per game (to cover referee’s fees, fines and admin)

There will be two packages available in 2012 and 2013 - Full Season and 13 Weeks.

Full Season^ ($4995*):  April 02 – Oct 03
(approx £3,300, US$ 5,100, EU 4000 - but check for today’s exchange rates)
Players on our Full Season package will need a Working Holiday Visa (see Visa section)

Part Season ($3495*):  April 02 – July 22 or July 22 – Oct 03
(approx £2,300 US$3,570 EU 2,800 - but check for today’s exchange rates)
13 week packages are available to players wanting a partial season on a holiday visa (see Visa section)

* All prices are in Australian Dollars.
^ The full season package allows players to work, earn and pay as they play. $1530 is to be paid prior to arrival in Perth. $165 is then charged each week for 21 weeks until the package is paid off. There are no fees in the last 5 weeks. Players behind with payments will not be eligible for selection

There are 32 squad places available, on a strictly first come, first served basis.  Positions in the squad can only be guaranteed on receipt of a non-returndable AU$500 deposit.
